Shropshire has always been more than just a place to do business for me – it's home. I am proudly born and bred in Shropshire and Reech has been rooted in the community since 2009. We're not just talking about paying taxes here – we're talking about employing talented individuals who live right here in our county. We champion the good things that make this county so special, so when the opportunity arose to become a founding member of the Shropshire Community Foundation, it was a no-brainer.
The Shropshire Community Foundation fills a vital gap in our local philanthropic landscape. For years, Shropshire was the only county in the UK without a dedicated community foundation! This new foundation offers a powerful platform for individuals and organisations like Reech to channel our support and funds to ensure it reaches the local causes that need it most.
The Shropshire Community Foundation ticks all the boxes for me. Unlike national charities, they have their finger on the pulse of Shropshire's unique needs and opportunities. This local expertise ensures donations are directed to areas where they can have the biggest impact. Imagine the difference between supporting a generic "youth development" program and supporting a local initiative that tackles the specific challenges faced by young people in Shrewsbury or Telford.
The foundation acts as a bridge, expertly connecting those who want to give back with the organisations making a real difference on the ground. Speaking of making a difference, keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming launch of Brightstar Boxing's newest video brand campaign! As the winners of our Reech and Reward initiative last year, this campaign is the culmination of our ongoing support for Brightstar's growth. This video campaign represents our commitment to empowering local organisations that enrich the lives of Shropshire residents. Brightstar isn't just about teaching kids to fight – it's about building confidence, fostering discipline, and providing a safe haven for young people.
